"FUN on the ROOF” - 18 JULY 2010

NASAM, the National Stroke Association of Malaysia, is now in its 15th year of existence. We currently manage eight centres around the country located in Petaling Jaya, Ampang, Melaka, Johor Bahru, Penang, Ipoh, Kuantan and Kota Kinabalu.

Over the years, NASAM has supported the recovery of several hundred stroke survivors through our rehab programmes at the various centres. Apart from these daily therapy programmes, we are also engaged in educating the public about Stroke and Stroke Prevention.

NASAM operations are largely funded by the support of a generous Malaysian public, both corporate and individuals, through our fund-raising events.

It is time once again to organise our annual food and fun fair with this year's theme of Fun on the Roof . It will be held on 18 July 2010 (Sunday) on the 4th level of the Jaya 33 carpark in Petaling Jaya . Our target is to raise RM200,000 from this event to meet the operating expenses of our two centres in Petaling Jaya and Ampang. Towards this end, we write to seek your support of this project.

We hope you will consider supporting this event in any of the following ways:

Donate your company's products for sale or for use as prizes for our games stalls.

• Sponsor a food stall at RM3,000.
• Purchase the food and fun fair coupons at RM10 per booklet.
• Make a cash donation to help us defray the cost of organising the event

Please note that NASAM will issue tax-exempt receipts for cash donations (excluding purchase of coupons) and sponsorship of food stalls.

Would you like to join an exciting, interactive fast expanding stroke support centre? NASAM provides stroke rehabilitation, functional intergration and support for stroke survivors in a friendly environment.
