❓ FAQ
COMMON QUESTIONS ASKED BY COLOUR WALK PARTICIPANTS
Q: How does a “Corporate Team” work compare with a solo walker?
A: You register as a team (20 people minimum) rather than as an individual. You then get to run/walk together and help each other get really colourful through the 4 kilometres (KM) course.
There is no ‘relay’ component and team members can finish together as a unit or separately.
Q: What is included with my NASAM Colour Walk registration?
A: Walkers will receive a custom NASAM Colour Walk t-shirt and goody bag.
Q: What is the inspiration behind NASAM Colour Walk?
A: NASAM Colour Walk is a Stroke Awareness walk. We want to create a less stressful and untimed walking environment that is more about health and the benefits of exercising.
We hope that NASAM Colour Walk can act as a catalyst to inspire continual healthy living.
Q: Can I walk with my kids?
A: All children under 12 can walk with an adult FREE of charge and do not need to register! Unregistered children do not get a t-shirt.
Q: Is there an age limit for children?
A: There are no age limits. If they can walk or run the 4KM of NASAM Colour Walk course, they can participate in the NASAM Colour Walk. However, when they turn 12, they will need to register.
Q: How will the colour element be administered during the event?
A: Our NASAM volunteers will provide colour elements throughout the route to ensure that you are covered in colours by the time you reach the finish point.
