NASAM and YMCA Kuala Lumpur came together to raise stroke awareness through free health screenings and a powerful talk on prevention and early detection.
On Saturday, 5th July 2025, NASAM partnered with YMCA Kuala Lumpur for a meaningful outreach event aimed at raising stroke awareness and promoting early prevention.
The day began with Stroke Risk Screenings from 10:00am to 12:00pm, where participants had their blood pressure, blood glucose, and BMI checked, followed by personalised consultations with our health team.
At 12:30pm, Mr. Kathir, NASAM’s Head Therapist, delivered a powerful and practical health talk on “Understanding Stroke & Its Prevention.” The session provided valuable insights into early signs of stroke, lifestyle risks, and how to take proactive steps to reduce the likelihood of stroke.
This event was part of NASAM’s ongoing mission to build a healthier, stroke-aware community — because recognising symptoms early can truly stop damage before it starts.
A heartfelt thank you to @ymcakl for their support and collaboration in making this important event a success!
