In 2014 she decided to leave the corporate world and joined NASAM to lead its management and operations. The choice of NASAM relates back to her childhood years when she assisted in the care of her grandmother, who suffered a stroke, and also an inborn desire to contribute towards the community.
She is now dedicated to driving the NASAM team towards achieving the organisation’s main objective of providing stroke-focussed rehabilitation in the country, as well as to continuously advocate public awareness on the devastating effects of stroke and most importantly, its prevention.
